Nancy Pelosi Calls Voter Fraud Investigation “Really Strange”

A group of nurses from various states spoke about the consequences of Republican efforts to repeal the health care law. They were joined by Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on the hill. Following their pleas to lawmakers, Rep. Pelosi talked about other consequences of repeal. She also took questions from reporters on other topics including the President’s call for an investigation into voter fraud and the executive orders he signed during the first few days of the administration.

Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) held a press conference at the U.S. Capitol to introduce the Patient Freedom Act of 2017, a replacement bill for the Affordable Care Act, often referred to as Obamacare. They contrasted their bill against the existing health care law, and explained how the Patient Freedom Act would, in their words, grant states and patients more options while keeping health care costs transparent and “truly affordable.”

Democrats “MAKE AMERICA SICK AGAIN” Press Conference

Following a meeting with President Obama on Capitol Hill, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other congressional Democratic leaders held a news conference on Republicans efforts to repeal and replace the health care law. Minority leader Schumer said the president emphasized the importance of preserving the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and Medicaid. In addition, he said Republican efforts would “make America sick again and lead to chaos instead of affordable care.”
