Scientists Explain Moving DOOMSDAY CLOCK Closer To Midnight!

Representatives from The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists announced they were moving the minute hand of their “Doomsday Clock” from three minutes until midnight to 2 1/2 minutes until midnight. Since 1945 a team of Nobel laureates at the publication has been compiling research and analysis to set their metaphorical clock, the hands of which they move closer to midnight when the group believes the world is moving closer to catastrophic events.

President Trump Signs Executive Order On Dakota Acces And Keystone XL Oil Pipelines

President Trump signed five executive orders in the Oval Office. Two dealt with permitting and renegotiating terms governing construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines, a third encouraging use of American-built piping, and a fourth aiming to streamline the permitting process for domestic manufacturers, and another expediting federal environmental reviews for infrastructure projects. After the signings, in response to a reporter’s question, President Trump said he would be nominating a Supreme Court justice within the next week

Former Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) testified before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on his nomination to be energy secretary in the Trump administration.
In his opening statement, Energy Secretary Nominee Rick Perry addresses previous comments he made about the Department of Energy stating, “my past statements made over five years ago about abolishing the Department of Energy do not reflect my current thinking. In fact, after being briefed on so many of the vital functions of the Department of Energy, I regret recommending its elimination.”
