Following a meeting with President Obama on Capitol Hill, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other congressional Democratic leaders held a news conference on Republicans efforts to repeal and replace the health care law. Minority leader Schumer said the president emphasized the importance of preserving the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and Medicaid. In addition, he said Republican efforts would “make America sick again and lead to chaos instead of affordable care.”

The witnesses agreed that Russia was behind the hacking and disseminating of fake news in the election.
